Omni Therapy is currently looking to hire an experienced Bookkeeping / Collections / Billing Specialist to deal with billing, payments, collections, and the basic creation of ledgers and journals for the work we do with home health agencies across Southern California. *This is a 100% Work-From-Home Remote Opportunity*
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with home health clients to ensure timely payments and facilitate successful conflict resolution.
- Monitor accounts for outstanding balances, initiate contact with the home health client for resolution/payment, and manage the collections process in a way that fosters a persistent and respectful communication defined by approachability and understanding for the client in a positive way via telephone and emails.
- Place agencies that remain in breach of contract on a “hold list” so that ongoing services are withheld until payment in full is received-after discussing with the leadership team and coming to an agreement- and update the staffing team regarding new holds in a timely manner to ensure “hold list” agencies don’t continue to receive ongoing services.
- Bill home health agencies using Devero, Filemaker, and QB (we can train you on Devero and Filemaker).
- Apply payments using bank scanners, Filemaker, and QB
- Create aging reports and journal entries
You must have:
- 2 or more years of bookkeeping experience
- 2 or more years of Microsoft Excel experience
- 2 or more years of billing experience (QuickBooks is a plus)
- 2 or more years of healthcare collections experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Pay
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
