Job Description Overview
Auto Trakk currently has an opening for a bilingual, Spanish speaking, Collections representative to join our Collections Team. This entry-level position services a portfolio of accounts which are in a delinquent payment status for both Spanish and English-speaking customers and utilizes customer service skills to negotiate and collect past-due amounts based on company guidelines, policies, and procedures. This role works with customers who may be experiencing various issues that impede the customer’s ability to meet payment obligations by offering various options to assist them in bring their account current. Work is done from a remote (work-from-home) location that is quiet and free from distractions and is equipped with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Verifying customer information in line with current compliance standards,
- Taking inbound calls from the Collections queue to assist customers in bring accounts current,
- Communicating with customers for collections purposes through outbound calls, email, text, and chat,
- Collecting past due amounts from an assigned portfolio of customer accounts or additional account assignments as needed,
- If required, assisting customer with payment arrangements,
- Following up with customers regarding payment arrangements,
- Documenting all conversations and actions taken in the account management system,
- Collaborating with other departments and reporting on current collection activities or arrangements for the account/vehicle.
Auto Trakk’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM (ET) and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (ET). This full-time position is based on a 40-hour work week during the hours of operation. Collectors are generally scheduled to work rotating Saturday shifts, once every third week. Hours may be adjusted for business needs.

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED),
- Ability to speak fluently in both Spanish and English over the phone,
- Ability to type 30 words per minute using a keyboard,
- Ability to use a desk top computer,
- Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones, and
- Two (2) or more years of auto finance collections experience, preferably in sub-prime.
