iDeal Deals, LLC dba iDeal Aluminum Products is seeking a Full-Time HR Benefits Specialist to work in the St. Augustine, FL office. A hybrid work arrangement will be considered after a period of training.
This position has four (4) areas of primary responsibility:
- Act as a subject matter expert on iDeal Aluminum’s benefit plans
- Communicate iDeal Aluminum’s benefits plans to team members.
- Educate iDeal team members on benefits and how to be proactive and smart consumers of healthcare.
- Subject matter expert on plan compliance, research, and analysis to ensure iDeal’s plans are legal, competitive, meet employee needs and support the organizations goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expert
- Have a thorough and complete understanding of all of iDeal’s benefit plans (who is eligible, coverages, vendors, contacts, etc.)
- Maintain plan documentation.
- Collaborate with Financial team to ensure correct financial reporting/billing.
- Consult and help troubleshoot elevated/complex issues or questions.
- Market and communicate benefit plans and programs.
- Drive benefit plan engagement and usage with iDeal team members
- Ensure current and potential team members understand the value of the benefit plans
- Work with HR Director and Benefits Broker to develop and execute an annual benefits marketing plan that has multiple touchpoints throughout the year.
- Identify vendor/partner resources that can be used to help market benefits to team members.
- Develop unique and creative ways to market benefit plans
- Education
- Create programs designed to ensure team members understand how to access and use benefit plans.
- Create, market, and conduct education programs to encourage and help team members to be smart healthcare consumers.
- Plan compliance, research, and analysis
- Ensure plan documentation is maintained and complies with all legal requirements.
- Ensure all plan filings are accurate and made in a timely manner (i.e., 5500s)
- Work with the Director of HR to benchmark and review the benefit plans – this includes but is not limited to:
- Conducts research and analysis of industry trends, employee surveys and workplace best practices to design benefits packages that are competitive, meet employee needs, and support organizational goals.
- Participate in selection and implementation of providers.
- Ensures offerings comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in, human resources, business, or related field. Equivalent level of education and experience will be considered.
- Prefer 4 years of progressive experience in human resources working with benefit plans and administration.
- Outgoing personality with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Internal marketing and communication background.
- Strong communications and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of Excel as well as other Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to analyze and present data in an effective and easy to understand manner.
- Understanding of regulatory standards and reporting required for benefit plans.
- Understanding of HIPAA.
- Experience in HRIS benefit set up and maintenance of information change
- Focus on process and creating efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail.
