ContinuumCloud is hiring a Benefits Integration EDI developer to join our Client Success team. This EDI Developer will have at least 3 years of experience using SQL to support and troubleshoot 834 EDI files as well as Non-834 files (COBRA IN/QE, Enrollment Demographics, Contribution, Census, etc.) using SQL and our Report Writer tool. Familiarity with FTP Setup and different FTP Communication methods (SFTP, PGP Encryption, etc.) is desired. You must be comfortable partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to ultimately deliver a great client experience.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Partnering with our clients, their brokers, and healthcare vendors, you’ll be responsible for maintaining lines of communication between all parties involved.
  • Understanding and translating data discrepancy reports, structural changes, and account updates for clients have a clear understanding
  • Ability to review test results from carriers and discuss with clients/vendors to make the changes needed.
  • Use of SQL and our available tools to develop EDIs, for HR, Payroll, and Benefit Election export files. File formats vary by vendor standards.
  • Assist client, implementation team, and engineering team during all phases of system implementation EDI projects for data and interface integrity.
  • Communicate with project team members regarding project milestones, risks, issues, and status.
  • Lead sessions to collect specifications and provide industry standards.
  • Identify project risks & dependencies and escalate to the proper project stakeholders.
  • Serve as the Client Success Team’s Subject Matter Expert on data, imports, exports, and benefits vendor carrier files.
  • Contribute to maintaining and growing our internal team knowledge.

Requirements

What you bring to the role:

  • Strong experience with EDIs including implementing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. SQL skills required.
  • Experience with complex health vendor files with multiple account structures and plans a plus
  • Strong experience in implementing ERP or Benefits, HR & Payroll integrations solutions. General Ledger interface experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in application implementation, with an understanding of the business process and data interrelationships and configuration impact.
  • Technical proficiency in database design, data models, and data mining.
  • Ability to gather and interpret client business needs and communicate requirements to vendors, etc.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve configuration and functional business issues.
  • Excellent project management skills to monitor and ensure project activities are progressing as scheduled (and within the defined scope).
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and manage multiple projects with a focus on results.
  • Displays strong verbal and written communication. Communicates openly, honestly, and respectfully with diverse audiences. Strong listening skills.
  • Build trust and relationships and create a collaborative, consultative style with clients. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sense of organization, and discipline.
