Bariatric/Minimally Invasive Surgeon Opportunity In Manchester, Nh

The New England Weight Management Institute (NEWMI) at Catholic Medical Center in beautiful, tax-free southern New Hampshire is seeking a board certified/board eligible Bariatric/Minimally Invasive Surgeon. 

The ideal candidate must be fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Surgery/Bariatric Surgery and ideally have 5 years of experience practicing in a comprehensive Bariatric program, but new graduates from fellowships are welcome to apply.

• NEWMI, an MBSAQIP Accredited Comprehensive Site, is a well-established, weight loss center founded in 2003. One of the largest Bariatric Surgery Centers in the state of New Hampshire, we are structured for success with a multidisciplinary team consisting of surgeons/physicians, advanced practice providers, dietitians, exercise physiologists, behavioral health experts.

• We are a high-volume program performing over 300 cases per year, including revisional bariatric surgery, and currently poised for more growth with our extensive state wide catchment area. 

• We have an unwavering commitment to our mission for continued weight loss success with our well attended post op patient follow-up pathway to include: post-op visits with multidisciplinary team through first year of surgery, monthly patient support groups both in person and virtually, and 6 month-yearly follow up with the medical/surgical team for life. 

• This surgeon will also be involved with foregut surgery and share general surgery on call details, integrating with 4 additional general surgeons with various subspecialty interests, working cohesively and collaboratively as one team with a generous on call schedule of 1 in 5 weekend call.
