The Banquet Server offers pre-determined menu selection to each table and transports items to the guest in a timely manner. They offer interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicates guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen; assists with set-up of items according to the banquet event order. The Banquet Server is responsible for breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations. The Banquet Server anticipates guest needs to ascertain satisfaction and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years serving experience within the high end hotel/resort restaurant industry preferably in Banquets and be able to work in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate must have solid F&B knowledge.
