Reliant currently provides property management, legal, accounting, security, compliance, and maintenance services to approximately 13,000 units across 8 states.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an AVP of Compliance to supervise two Regional Compliance Directors and other compliance staff, ensuring adherence to all LIHTC, 236 Mitchell-Lama and Section 8 requirements. This position reports to the Vice President of Portfolio Operations.

What youll be doing:
Providing oversight of staff responsible for all aspects of Compliance for the portfolio, including but not limited to: o Annual Recertifications o Interim Recertifications o New Move-ins o Waiting List Management o EIV Discrepancies o Terminations/Restorations o HUD Vouchers o OCAF o Special Claims o AFHMP o TSP o MOR o Agency Reporting o Investor Reporting
Reviewing file selections from all team members for accuracy Visiting sites to meet with compliance team members, review files and overall organization and completion of documents Working with the site management team and staff to ensure all annual recertifications and move-in files for Section 8, 236/Mitchell-Lama & LIHTC are completed timely and properly pursuant to agency guidelines Running and analyzing reports on a weekly and monthly basis to monitor recertification status, pending or past terminations, EIV discrepancies, etc. Overseeing preparation for annual management reviews (MOR) Oversight of budget-based rent increase data collection and analysis Senior Management of lease-up projects separate from sites under ongoing management agreements Aiding in the development of strategic compliance measures for the Company Directly supervising compliance team members, ensuring agency guidelines are implemented and adhered to Assisting with special projects.
What Youll Need:
