Product Upload Specialist Automotive Inventory
Description
Are you passionate about cars and possess a knack for meticulous research and pricing? Pacific Motors is an industry-leading dismantling facility specializing in Mercedes, BMW, McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and other high-performance vehicles. We are seeking the newest member for our team of automotive experts. Your help is needed to accurately describe and competitively price a wide range of automotive components for our e-commerce store.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research automotive parts from small computer modules to entire dropout engine assemblies.
- Work together with the dismantling team to ensure accurate identification, labeling, and inventorying of parts.
- Utilize inventory management software to catalog and track the availability of automotive parts.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to competitively price parts for in-store & e-commerce sales.
- Photograph each part meticulously, ensuring high-quality images that showcase details and condition.
- Ensure consistency in image quality and presentation for a professional online presence.
- Verify product information for online listings is accurate and complete.
Requirements
- Commitment to fulltime employment with a schedule of Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm REQUIRED
- Basic familiarity with automotive components and understanding of industry terminology.
- Ability to lift and move large or heavy items up to 50 lbs. without assistance, and larger items with assistance.
- Capability to work in a coordinated manner with inventory, dismantling, sales, and shipping departments.
- Proficiency with desktop computer software including web browser, search engines, network file sharing, etc.
- Willingness to learn new applications and processes.
- Focus on detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills / Experience
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as eBay and retail pricing experience is preferred.
- Experience working with inventory management software.
- Experience in the automotive industry – parts or service department, parts distribution, etc.
- Photography skills and artistic passion
- Data, library, or information science background considered a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
