Automation Specialist

The Automation Specialist is responsible for developing and monitoring automated collections and other systems, for both internal and external clients.

Schedule: Regular business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, on-call and after hours responsibilities may be required on a rotating basis.

Location: must be local to Chicago area, can work remotely

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 annually

DAY TO DAY

• Responsible for developing and monitoring automated processes for both internal and external clients
• Effectively oversee automated processes in Harris & Harris’ collections and automation systems
• Daily processing of files received from and delivered to clients within set guidelines
• Reviewing and troubleshooting exceptions reported from processes
• Documenting detailed procedures for use in automation efforts
• Monitoring and development of automated jobs, adhering to corporate standards and practices
• Manage the quality control of operational programs, results, and reporting for all clients in order to eliminate problems or mishaps and increase client satisfaction
• Assists with Help Desk requests/tickets directly through telephone or Help Desk ticketing system as needed
• Execute various corporate and client projects

WHAT YOU MUST POSSESS

Must Have:

• High School Diploma required

• Software application experience (such as troubleshooting) required
• Application development/programming experience is a plus
• Experience with the CUBS system is preferred
• Collection experience helpful

Nice To Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or other higher education preferred
