Audit Manager

Wolf is seeking an External Financial Audit Manager to join our growing and well-established firm. This exciting position with unlimited growth potential requires a motivated, experienced Audit/Assurance professional with strong interpersonal and engagement management skills.

** Targeting Candidates who live in the Northeast or Mid Atlantic Areas.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the activities of audit engagements including SEC registrants
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to engagement team, principals, and clients
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts
• Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
• Develop productive relationships with client senior management and personnel
• Use technology to continually learn and enhance service delivery
• Develop Audit staff through effective delegation and guidance on engagements
• Provide developmental performance feedback to audit staff
• Assist in staff development through recruiting, training, and coaching
• Actively participate in firm’s practice development efforts through involvement with referral sources, community, and industry activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
• Minimum six years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
• Currently holds, and commits to maintain, certified public accountant’s license
• Demonstrated ability to meet challenging client requirements
• Demonstrated supervisory experience
• Ability and willingness to travel including related to client assignments and industry events
