OPPORTUNITY
Two, successful, established Financial Advisors with high-quality financial services organizations seek an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join their team.to support the Planning, Insurance, and Investment operations functions in a pre and post sales capacity.
The successful candidate will set a high standard for excellence and professionalism as demonstrated through client interactions, being efficient and productive to allow the Financial Advisors to focus their energy building client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review portfolios and provide rebalancing recommendations.
- Corresponding with clients to handle investment related service requests
- Providing services and administering advisory & brokerage products
- Accepting redemptions/withdrawals from clients and communicating instructions to home office
- Maintaining daily tickler system for account follow-ups and service requirements
PROPOSAL AND CASE PREPARATION
- Preparing client annual review information
- Preparing and modifying PX Planning Analysis and investment/advisory proposals
- Prepare sales illustrations and proposals for Insurance products
PROCESSING ACCOUNTS
- Preparing and processing all paperwork needed for investment/advisory accounts
- Monitoring, processing and following up on asset transfers and on initial and subsequent funding of investment accounts
- Implementing initial and subsequent asset allocation trades
- Identifying need for various actions to satisfy “Best Interest Regulations”
- Process rollover opportunities from other retirement plans for variable and mutual funds
- Executing buy or sell orders and rebalancing order and maintaining asset allocation
- Following up on trade rejects and resolving all trade-related issues
- Running performance reports in Envestnet, Morningstar and NMCIR
QUALIFICATIONS
- Series 7 or Series 6 & 63 Licenses
- 3 years in the Financial Services industry
- Trading experience, ability to process personal securities transactions
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data entry and information retrieval software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, financial analysis and problem-solving skills required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients
- Ability to look beyond the obvious and not stop at the first answers
- Willingness to work independently, embrace change, and maintain confidentiality
