Watts is looking for an innovative Associate Product Manager that will provide daily and ongoing product and project support to the Product Management team including monthly and quarterly financial sales, margin tracking, analysis, new product development interdepartmental project interface, customer support and quotation assistance, sales group assistance as it relates to product issues, and field support at trade shows and where needed to support product lines.
Support / lead teams in new products launches using Stage Gate Process Manage projects with Engineering and Product Development ensuring product launch is on time and on budget.
Update databases, collecting requests for product requirements, and creating foundations for business cases. Develop dashboards for Product Team to manage analytics, providing “deep dives” into data, becoming the “PowerBi Expert”.
Provide product training to the sales reps, distribution personnel as well as customers and end users.
Educate manufacturer reps on product and applications.
Travel required for learning and understanding the Voice of the Customer (VOC).
Communicate company messaging to representatives, engineers, distributors, and contractors.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
~Project Management skill set.
~ Good comprehension of MS office such as excel, PowerPoint. Working knowledge of PowerBI, SAP, Tableau or other similar data base analytics will be highly advantageous.
~ familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
~ The flexibility to travel up to 25%.
