Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is seeking Manufacturing Technology Analysts for the Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center and Decorative Paint Facility on 2nd Shift. Perspective applicants are expected to be highly skilled in the troubleshooting of the entire aircraft. SME in the application of latest trouble shooting tools and aircraft systems. Adept at loading and troubleshooting Aircraft Software issues. Analyzes Aircraft Health, Flight Squawks, Non-conformances, and Pick-up data to identify and RCCA flight squawks and aircraft defects. Manages projects using approved project management techniques. Coordinates improvements in engineering designs and manufacturing processes as identified by Aircraft Health and other tools to eliminate Ground Squawks. Consults with Engineering, Quality, Production and Training on procedures and process to build and test the aircraft. Develops processes and documentation to enhance aircraft troubleshooting, squawk resolution and aircraft delivery. Expected to become fully qualified and proficient on ME processes required to support the Flight Line. Strongly focused on Flight Line Stall Success.

Primary Responsibilities:

Associate Level:

  • Creating and updating emergent build instructions
  • Flight Line support for ME processes related items
  • Assisting in troubleshooting aircraft systems and software
  • Assisting in tooling / equipment solutions, working improvement opportunities for cost, quality and flow for Operations and Engineering processes
  • Analyzes Aircraft Health, Flight Squawks, Non-conformances, and Pick-up data to identify and RCCA flight squawks and aircraft defects.


Mid-Level:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Associates degree or higher
  • Ability to navigate and locate engineering documentation out of REDARS, Enovia, FASTR
  • Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 2+ years of Production Test Experience preferred
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulic, electrical, egress systems), components
  • Loadable / Non-loadable software experience
  • Prior Manufacturing engineering planning experience
  • Knowledge and experience working 787 aircraft systems and software
  • Ability to navigate and located engineering documentation out of MyBoeingFleet


Typical Education/Experience:

Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 6 years' related work experience, etc.).

  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.


Remote Type:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Pay Range Summary:

Associate Level: $68,000- $92,000

Mid-Level: $81,600- $110,400
