Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and utilize various measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Check work for proper assembly.
- Follow all cGMP manufacturing requirements.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations including the wearing of protective equipment when required.
- Print labels and package a variety of products or sub-assemblies following established procedures.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation associated with production.
- Must be willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment.
- Sustain and maintain 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities.
- Set-up and operate most production equipment.
- Train other employees as required.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in a mechanical assembly operation.
- Must be able to demonstrate assembly ability
- Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, ability to move about, bend, stoop, use hands and lift to 35 pounds unassisted. Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors.
