In a vehicle project the Technical Specialist is operatively attached to the Vehicle Technical Manager. Duties and activites may include or be similar to the following:
• Coordinate,
o Vehicle composition (core structure, interchangeability
o Product convergence (hard points in zone meetings
• Coordinate the creation and organization of Connections/Fasteners
o Organize Connections/Fasteners meeting to coordinate the technical core team’s activity and identify roadblocks
o As owner of the Connections/Fasteners dashboard, define with the Technical Manager the follow-up and final Critical Metric.
• Prepare and coordinate that meeting
o Continuation of t coordination, multi-site coordination by sharing with the dedicated sites the modifications requested
• Chip in to the quality convergence by synchronizing the part modifications with the project planning (batch of modifications).
• Coordinate the Product/Process convergence & reactivity (mainly for Welding, Painting and Assembly)
o Participation to modification batches organization on main topics, based on information (break points, part number change
o Support defects solving coordination for main defects on Painting, Welding and Assembly.
• Coordinate the vehicle rework during the project:
o On used cars, X2 with dedicated rework/upgrade workshops (performed by team in charge of all mass production cars)
o On new car, for vehicles produced from batch method (XS) till SOP with rework/ (performed by production site)
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an ABET accredited university.
• Strong critical thinking skills, detail oriented with good process awareness
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Excel and PP
Preferred Requirements:
• Automotive experience or internship
