Manages day-to-day servicing of FINEX placements, including negotiating and placing business with insurance markets. Supports senior brokers and brokers on larger FINEX placements.

The Role
- Maintains insurance records for accounts including compiling, calculating and managing information
- Performs research on clients and industries
- Obtains and distributes information from renewal lists
- Prepares draft strategy documents, proposals and submissions
- Utilizes the FINEX Panel when appropriate
- Gathers information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks in order to support the placement of client risks into the market
- May negotiate small renewal placements with insurance markets on behalf of clients
- Participate in and adhere to FINEX FINMAR protocols to support a strategic approach to broking
- Prepare draft submission documents and finalize submissions for delivery
- May prepare and update summaries in database as required
- Prepares contract certainty coverage documents for review
- Maintains business relationships with producers and underwriters
- Maintains knowledge of insurance carriers and their business practices
The Requirements
- 1-3 years industry experience
- Insurance broker's P&C and surplus lines license required
- Demonstrates knowledge of core insurance principles
- Ability to conduct research
- Understanding of required placement workflows
- Self-starter/requires minimal supervision, ability to execute assigned tasks in timely fashion
- Ability to interface with customers and collaborate internally with teammates to serve customers
- Will seek guidance when needed, and receptive to feedback
- Good presentation skills - written and oral
- Good listening skills
- Enhancing client service skills
- Strong technology acumen - ability to utilize technology-based record management systems; advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with other relevant online tools
- Travel required
