Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate & Experienced Quality Production Specialists (Material Review) (Level 2 & 3) to join our team Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

• Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
• Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations.
• Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
• Trains and mentors' fellow employees in the Quality Management System. Performs root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent reoccurrence.
• Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution.
• Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes. Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution.
• Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectivity to ensure completion. Reviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
• Guides validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver the software products.
• Develops software system processes to support changing industry standards. Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.
• Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation.
• Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution. Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Minimum 3 year of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusion.
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.
• Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Microsoft skills.
• Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard.
• Experience working in Velocity or CMES.
• Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Quality Assurance or Technical Inspection.
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• 3+ years of experience in a role that required you to analyze and summarize raw data from various sources, and recommend executable action plans.
• 3+ years of experience writing non-conformance records.
• 3+ years of experience with MS Office Suite.
• 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
• Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with (CMES) Common Manufacturing Execution System.
• 3+ years of experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment.
• 3+ years of experience working with suppliers.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Prior military experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Experienced (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 year's related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $69,700 - $94,300

Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $ 89,250 - $ 120,750
