This position will support all components of the vendor contracts life cycle for the dentsu Operations team under the supervision of the Operations Director for contracts. The Associate Director acts as liaison to all dentsu Media capability departments can quickly establish business partnerships to meet the needs of our ever-evolving media business. The Associate Director will play a critical role in helping project manage agreements that vary from upfront agreements to DSP platform agreements to new digital insertion order terms. Within the Operations team, the Associate Director will oversee senior managers with different vendor focus areas and support longer-term Agency initiatives and projects.
- Serve as a resource for dentsu media and capability team inquiries about governing terms of their vendor agreements
- Negotiate and redline contracts to ensure they align with dentsu priorities and inform clients about potential business risks.
- Work with different levels of personnel within dentsu to analyze terms of contracts and apply meaningful solutions to cure differing Agency, Vendor, or Client points of view
- Serve as a liaison and shepherd between internal media business partners, dentsu legal team, and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages
- Lead internal audits on performance media vendors to help consolidate partnerships and renegotiate new streamlined agreements
- 5+ years of contract management, procurement, or operations experience in the advertising industry
- Experience with IAB terms and agency insertion orders
- Familiarity and comfort with advertising agency/media agency business terms
- Proven work experience in business affairs, legal, contract management or relevant role
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems using all resources as their disposal
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000-96,025. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
