Discover NIGHT is the leader in beauty textiles. Our mission is to harvest the power of textiles for all your beauty and wellness needs. We use intelligent and natural materials such as couture grade silk, chemical free cooling rayon and vegan satins to create innovative beauty textile products. We are hiring an entrepreneurial minded assistant to provide structure to the founder/CEO of our fast growing company. In this role you'll be the right hand to Kalle Simpson helping the business (and her life) run smoothly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to join a high growth (completely self funded) start up. The office is located in Durham, NC but this role has the ability to work remotely ideally within the east coast time zone.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and anticipate the personal necessities of the CEO on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Manage property maintenance, insurance, & mail
- Schedule personal appointments & wellness endeavors, vacation & event planning when applicable
- Create & submit expense reports monthly with follow-up to ensure remittal of payment
- Manage & serve as the gatekeeper to the CEO’s calendar
- Schedule & coordinate meetings thoughtfully including ensuring proper deliverables are sent prior to meetings & proper noncommittal time is allowed for
- Maintain and anticipate office necessities of Discover Night on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Ensure office upkeep including managing cleaning services, landlord communication & maintaining proper office supplies & sample stock
- Plan, organize & lead the celebration & events efforts for birthdays, anniversaries, team building activities & notable meetings
- Act as an extension of the CEO in sensitive administrative tasks
- Manage & maintain updates to the master password database & distribute it with care & thoughtfulness always ensuring CEO visibility
- Act as a liaison between the CEO & other senior leaders to increase connection/visibility & support prioritization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Administration or Management.
- 2+ years of work experience preferably in an office environment.
- Tech savvy and proficient in G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Asana
- Self-motivated & the ability to work in a team environment is a MUST.
- Be reliable, responsible, & trustworthy.
- Jack/Jill-of all trades, flexibility to handle various kinds of requests.
- Courteous, friendly attitude, high emotional intelligence while also being results driven.
