Details:
Hybrid role; part in person/onsite (1 day per week) and part remote (2 days per week).
Team meetings on Mondays
Estimated hours: 10-20 hours per week ; 40-80 hours per month with room to grow
Flexible schedule for remote work; consistent coverage required for sauna 1 day per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Contract Assistant Manager at our sauna and discovery/wellness facility in Scottsdale. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall growth and success of the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Facility Operations:
- Assist in managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintenance, and cleanliness of the facility.
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, ensuring availability for smooth operations.
- Oversee facility schedules and bookings, ensuring seamless coordination of services and resources.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement and enforce facility policies and procedures.
2. Customer Service and Membership Support:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Support the membership program by promoting and enrolling new members, managing membership database, and ensuring member satisfaction.
- Assist in organizing and executing member events, workshops, and other wellness-related activities.
3. Sales and Systems:
- Assist in promoting the facility and its services through various marketing channels, including social media, website updates, and community outreach initiatives.
- Support the sales efforts by upselling services, packages, and products to customers, maximizing revenue opportunities

4. Marketing, Partnerships, & Community Outreach Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the facility and increase awareness.
- Assist in creating and updating marketing materials, such as personal outreach and digital content, to attract new customers, partnerships, and community presence; and retain existing ones.
- Coordinate and participate in community events, trade shows, and wellness fairs to promote the facility and generate leads.
- Monitor and analyze marketing efforts, including social media engagement, website traffic, and customer feedback, to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to ensure the facility remains competitive and innovative in its marketing approach.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and special offers to drive sales and revenue.
5. Management and Reporting:
- Assist in reporting, managing, and supervising systems & staff, ensuring we deliver exceptional customer service.
- Conduct and atrend regular meetings to communicate updates, provide training, and address any performance or operational issues.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Associate's degree + 2 years of exp; or High school diploma or equivalent + 3 years of experience
- additional education in business management, marketing, or related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service and management in the wellness, spa, or fitness industry.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with knowledge of digital marketing platforms and techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
- Proficient in using Google Suite, Mailchimp, Acuity Scheduling, and Zoom
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative ideas.
- Strong analytical skills to measure and track marketing performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently manage marketing projects.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
