About the Role:
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager who will work closely with our third-party drafting team and who will be responsible for assisting with internal coordination project coordination, preparing & verifying ADU location plans, details, and construction documents, and assisting with quality control.

In addition to competitive benefits, candidates have the ability to work primarily from home as our office is fully remote. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual bonus payment of up to a certain percentage of your paid salary based on the achievement of performance goals and company profitability.
What you get to do:
- Review project scope and clarify owner requirements with our Operations team.
- Assist with managing deadlines for third-party drafting using Monday.com with sketches, markups & draft plans.
- Review and verify all drawings, make revisions for accuracy and code compliance, and ensure that formatting meets United Dwelling’s documentation standards.
- Review & file project documents on Monday.com and Google Drive, and upload them to Procore.
- Update and maintain current project documentation templates using ArchiCAD.
- Collaborate with United Dwelling’s R&D team for template & standards revisions.
- Coordinate plan check comments or client revisions for projects in the entitlements process to ensure timely submittals and approvals.
- Work closely with the permit processing team to determine code requirements and site-specific needs.
- Communicate questions, problems, and obstacles to management promptly to ensure timely resolution.
What you should bring to the role:
- 0-2 years experience in preparing & drafting architectural drawings through construction documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
- All in-house drafting is done using Graphisoft's ArchiCAD. Experience with ArchiCAD is preferred but optional and not required.
- Excellent written & verbal communication, organization, & time management.
- Ability to meet deadlines while also maintaining attention to detail & quality.
- Knowledge of residential building & zoning codes in the greater Los Angeles area
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including (but not limited to) skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At United Dwelling, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 - $72,000.
