Texas Biomed is searching for the Assistant Director of Regional Corporateand Foundation Relations to support the expansion of its donor operations anddonor base.
The Role:
Generate leads by spending 80% of time (including 75% travel) meeting with donors/prospects to cultivate and solicit gifts
Coordinate fundraising and donor cultivation events at a local and national level
Identifying and securing grant opportunities
Work with Development staff to identify potential regional foundation funders and corporate sponsors
Develop and execute ongoing regional strategy for qualifying donors to ensure retention, growth of donor contributions, as well as recapture from previous donors
Our Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management or related field
6+ years fundraising experience with foundations and grants
Working knowledge of Raiser's edge
Grants and foundation writing experience
Proficient with sponsorship solicitation
