And we care for the future by supporting sustainability, protecting the local environment, and promoting societal equity.What you do:Coordinates, prepares, and performs actuarial analyses to support the development of products, pricing strategies, financial forecasts, reserve valuation, experience and risk analysis providing management of the company's insurance products.What you bring:* Develops and manages projects, analyzes results and provides options and recommendations including:* New product pricing models* Product management tools and studies* Business and related forecasts* Implementation of new valuation methods* Performs actuarial research supporting: Product pricing and development; Hedging and risk mitigation methods; valuations and insurance regulations* Prepares financial reports and analysis, actuarial memos and responses in support of:* New product research filings and rollouts* Requests from external auditors, state regulators and rating agencies* Parent company requests and requirements* Perform experience studies and assist in development of pricing, projection or valuation assumptions* May supervise other entry-level actuaries. Training and direction of other entry level actuariesMinimum Qualifications* 8-10 years of Actuarial field experience required* Four-years degree required in Actuarial Science, Math, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or related field* Achieved ASA working toward FSAPreferred Qualifications* 4-5 years of experience in Financial Services or Insurance IndustryBase Salary Range $74,000 - $148,000Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location.
