The Liquidity Solutions team, within Asset Management, is seeking a Money Market Trader at the Associate/Vice President level based in New York. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the trading/portfolio management team and will help to manage liquidity investments across portfolios/strategy types.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Trading of money market securities across our mutual fund complex and separately managed accounts
• Identifying and implementing security selection and relative value opportunities
• Recommending, allocating, and executing trades
• Monitor asset allocation relative to guidelines and goals; evaluates need to rebalance; portfolio optimization
• Working with client portfolio managers to build and monitor risk in portfolios, including management of cash flows
• Maintaining and improving various trading tools and the accuracy of the data they employ
• Developing and maintaining sell-side trading relationships
• Entrepreneurial business management, developing new opportunities and representing the business in new opportunities
  

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in fixed income portfolio management / trading / treasury
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
• CFA charter holder, or being a candidate, favorable
• Positive mindset, entrepreneurial and ambitious personality
• Strategically minded
• Strong work ethic

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
