Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi-Cola Bottler founded in Birmingham, AL, more than 100 years ago. The Area Development Coordinator (ADC) is a key member of Team Rock's sales force responsible for selling, merchandising and rotating beverage products found in our extensive portfolio of PepsiCo, Dr. Pepper, and Buffalo Rock private label brands. The ADC is trained on AIM Selling Guidelines and owns the success of his/her assigned territory.

Essential Functions Statement(s) • The ADC is to exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company. • Perform specific activities of the assigned route - This includes but is not limited to the selling in of new products, incremental displays, additional merchandising space, and promotions. • Service all assigned accounts based on Division Policy for service frequency. • Service all accounts in accordance with the AIM Selling Process. • To visit all retail accounts weekly whether purchasing Buffalo Rock product or not due to transshipping, if transshipping the ADC will be required to count number of cases, and bring in a bottle and/or can of each transshipped product. • Develop and maintain positive professional customer relationships. • Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the safety of self, customers, Buffalo Rock Property, and customer property. • Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the Company from possible damages, theft, or other liabilities. • ADC will be responsible for continuous self improvement through the knowledge and use of all Company and Division provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other Company provided method. • Consistently review all existing policies/procedures for possible change. • Take responsibility for leading the assigned sector employees and assuring that the Team concept is the key to the group's success. • Solicit all new accounts in your assigned sales area. • Notify TDM of any change to an existing account, including ownership or closure, etc. • Properly complete all required paperwork to Company Policy and timeline. • To gain authorization and full distribution on all current and future products distributed by the Buffalo Rock Company based on the individual customer product authorization. • Monitor all assigned accounts for CDA compliance. • Achieve required % of Strategic Execution Objectives. • Maintain required AIM Certification goals per account. • Execute and achieve all account program key objectives. • Properly rotate all products in accordance with the AIM Certification criteria. • Remove all damaged products and UTC's on each account visit following Company policy and procedure. • Ensure pallets, trays and CO2 are prepared for pick up at each account. • Assist management in reporting competitive activity, achieving sales goals and metrics, and promoting the Team Rock concept. • Required to work weekends and non-traditional hours as needed. May require additional work hours not scheduled-must be flexible. • Attend all scheduled meetings requiring your presence and / or participation. • Adhere to customer policies for vendors or suppliers, which may include but is not limited to business conduct policies, business ethics policies, legal policies, and delivery and merchandising policies. • May be required to perform additional tasks or assigned additional duties not listed in this document. • Responsible for continuous self improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to facilitated training. POSITION QUALIFICATIONSSKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Experience: At least (1) Year Sales Experience (or management approval) Computer Skills: Radio/Cell Phone Proficient Handheld use Hand Truck usage Certifications &
Licenses: Valid state Class A CDL driver's license, for state of residence, with a good driving record
preferred. Other Requirements: Ability to present and communicate all necessary information to both customers and management.
