AutoCAD Drafter
We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter for our corporate office in Dallas, Texas. The right candidate will have recent experience in residential architectural drafting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Produce and revise the architectural plans, lot fits, plot plans, and sales brochures needed for new home construction.
- Performing calculations on the estimated dimensions of the structure.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of recent residential architecture AutoCAD experience.
- Relevant degree preferred but not required.
- Highly skilled in AutoCAD software (AutoCAD 2016 or newer; Megatel Homes uses AutoCAD 2022).
- Ability to understand, modify and create a full set of residential construction documents.
- Must be extremely detail oriented.
- Must be able to multitask with several projects working at any given time.
- Ability to work both as part of a collaborative team and alone.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of residential codes (IRC).
