Billing Specialist - Hamden, CT
Schedule: Mon - Fri (Able to work from home 2-3 days/week!)
Robert Half is currently working with a growing firm looking to fill a Billing Specialist position. The Billing Specialist will report to the Accounting Manager, and be responsible for creating invoices, credit memos, update accounting records and customer information, apply payments, and send payment reminders. If you are a Billing Specialist with excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills, this may be the role for you!

How you will make an impact
- Send out bills and invoices to clients
- Issue periodical customer account statements
- Check for billing data accuracy and fix any errors as needed
- Manage billing inquiries and help customers
- Apply payments and contact customers if needed
- Check payments for accuracy, including cash and online payments
- Put together reports for executives and senior managers
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office
