Duties and Responsibilities: The Aquatics Technician will be responsible for the care of live fishes and invertebrates as part of the temporary exhibition, "Unseen Oceans". This includes scheduled feedings, tank cleaning and water maintenance, rearing of live food, and daily monitoring of animals and record keeping of such activities. Additionally, the Aquatics Technician will work with their supervisor on assisting with the above duties for live fishes in the Museum's aquatics lab.
Qualifications: Extensive experience and proficiency with all aspects of day-to-day care and maintenance of marine and freshwater fishes, as well as invertebrates.
