Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst

Citibank N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Rutherford, NJ location.
Duties: Design, develop, and maintain key components of the Citi Risk and Control application. Partner with management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Developer, or in a related occupation. Employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in an above stated field of study and four (4) years of experience. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master's degree experience. Six (6) years of experience or four (4) years in the alternative with a Master's must include: Systems analysis, design, development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems utilizing Java, Spring Boot Microservices, Oracle databases, ETL, Spark, Hadoop, Unix, and JIRA; Participating in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process including performing detailed analysis, collecting requirements, coding and unit testing, integration, and system testing; Designing and developing configuration based ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks using Spring Batch, Spark-Java and Python that deploy to a cloud infrastructure such as OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes (ECS); Tuning database SQL queries by SQL re-writing and improving execution plans by use and creation of appropriate indexes, joins, and caching; Designing, producing, and maintaining visually compelling reporting solutions including reports, dashboards, datasets, and interfaces using reporting tools, applications, SQL queries and visualization techniques; Building a Data Quality framework consisting of a common set of model components and patterns that can be extended to implement complex process controls and data quality measurements using Hadoop, Angular, and Spark; and Performing continuous integration and delivery of applications using Jenkins, Bit Bucket, SonarQube, and Blackduck. 40 hrs./wk.
