Accounts Payable Clerk
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive, review and process all incoming suppliers invoices, check requests, expense reports, etc.
- Distribute invoices for departmental approval and account coding.
- Accordingly Enter invoices into SAP AP system for batching and payment processing.
- Monitor Bank account balance and debt payments, maintain debt files
- Reconcile monthly corporate credit card accounts and process the payment timely
- Process ACH and wire transfer payments in BOA cash pro access, print checks obtaining appropriate signature(s), and coordinates timely mailing of checks.
- Maintain A/P reports and vendor files.
- Manage the integrity of information contained in the accounts payable database and files so that information is retrievable for departments, and intact for the annual audit.
- Analyze vendor files and prepare 1099s for review and annual submission.
- Analyze and maintain monthly AP accruals, prepaids amortization and other related adjust entries.
- Maintain fixed assets file, and prepare monthly fixed asset capitalization, depreciation journal entry and reconciliation.
- Provide support to external auditors during Annual Audit.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2+ years accounts payable or other accounting experience.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting.

- Must be able to push, pull, squat and walk through-out the day.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
- You must be able to wear safety shoes & glasses through-out the day while in designated areas. (provided by the company)
- You must be cleared by a physician to wear a respirator throughout the day while in designated areas.
- You must be ok to work in a chemical environment.
