TexasBiomed is searching for an Animal Caretaker in the Chimp Group. Thesuccessful candidate must be able to wash down and move cages, feed animals,perform daily health checks on animals, and sanitize cages using variousdetergents and portable power washers. Must be able to work well as a teammember, as well as independently.
The Role•Provide daily care for chimpanzees, e.g., watering, feeding, dailycleaning of cages, etc.
•Provide all other aspects of primate husbandry, including health checks,recording data and assisting Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in healthcare and assistin environmental enrichment program.
•Must be able to read, follow written/verbalorders, and write legibly to record health data and some research data.

•Animal experience a plus.
•Valid Driver's license
•Available to work Monday-Friday,7am to 4pm with rotating schedule covering some weekends and holidays
