Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of IT Applications, this position will assist in the design, build and implementation of Epic Resolute Billing for the organization. Once the implementation is complete, the Epic Resolute Analyst will provide ongoing support for the revenue cycle system. This role can be fully remote.
Essential Functions:
1. The Epic Resolute Analyst develops, implements, and supports Epic Resolute
2. Interacts directly with management and users to analyze and specify clinical application requirements and workflows and to make system recommendations
3. Assists with problem solving, testing and documentation of clinical systems
4. Develops and maintains configuration decision and workflow documents
5. Assists with analysis of data [conversion, analytics, quality, root cause]
6. Attends meetings and is accountable for action items assigned to them or their team
7. Partners with end users to understand workflow and business processes
What You Need to Succeed:
1. Willingness to obtain certifications via EPIC if requested.
2. Organized and self-sufficient.
3. Being cooperative and approachable and taking time to listen to and address others' questions or concerns,
4. The ability to develop and deliver formal presentations. This includes presenting information in a clear and interesting manner, commanding the audience's attention, developing effective materials, and handling questions or challenges from the audience.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and oral.
6. Comfortable multitasking and working through multiple complex projects.
Education and Experience:
1. Epic Professional Billing certification required.
2. Epic Claims certification preferred.
3. Experience with Epic’s reimbursement contract build.
4. Willingness to obtain certifications via Epic if requested.
5. Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible experience in information systems. Health care setting preferred.
Environmental/Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones. Minimal exposure to communicable diseases.
Physical/Mental Demands:
Normal office environment. Work is typically performed at a desk or table requiring the use of standard office equipment. Intermittent sitting, standing and stooping. May view computer screen for long periods of time. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
