This position involves managing and leading a team of part time staff based on program needs & client expectations. The Airport Operations Lead reports to the Director of Staffing. Flexibility, good communication and a proactive demeanor are necessary. Prior supervisory or management experience is essential. This is an on-call part time position that is only eligible for medical benefits and 401k after the required number of service hours are met per year. The right candidate will have a minimum of 30 hours of OPEN availability that include scheduling around weekday/weekend and holidays.

Scope:
Provides direct supervision to part time staff:
- Keep staff accountable for performance and program results.
- Enforce uniform & grooming policy as set forth by Staffing Department reference guide.
- Entitled to issue warnings, write ups and termination recommendations.
- Coach and mentor staff to develop current and future employees.
- Identify and recommend new staff to hire.
Act as an Airport Operations Lead on programs during peak and off-peak seasons:
- Provide an effective briefing to all part time staff expressing program details, client expectations and reiterating company policies.
- Develop a decisive plan on where to place staff, how to organize equipment, etc.
- Communicate with Client to confirm all needs are correct based on the details provided.
- Communicate with Hotel contact or Hotel staff (ie: front drive staff, valets, CSMs).
- Keep accurate counts and program notes.
- Keep track of the timesheet to ensure accuracy of staff hours worked.
Common assignments include but are not limited to:
Airport Meet & Greet – You will be assigned to meet the scheduled staff at the airport and assign them to a specific role for that day which usually involves meeting and greeting guests as they move down the escalator to the baggage claim area. You will be responsible for monitoring a flight manifest or shuttle schedule to ensure that all guests are being met property and directed to their correct transportation.
On occasion, you may be required to assist and/or lift luggage (up to 50 lbs.)
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Previous management experience preferred.
