Job description

This position is located in the Office of Airports, Regional Airports Division. The incumbent serves as the Airports Compliance Specialist responsible for assessing and evaluating complaints in accordance with 14 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 13, of non- compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures related to the terms and conditions of federal land transfers and federal grant obligations that include airport rates, charges, and revenue diversion.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position at the FV-I level, you must demonstrate in your application package that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS-10-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Specialized Experience includes: Experience in the application of the policies and principles pertaining to aspects of airport operations (e.g., airport planning, airport management, airport compliance, or business law) sufficient to give advice and guidance to officials in various lines of business. Experience in conducting investigations and writing reports sufficient to substantiate findings.
