We have a client in Dallas, TX who is a global leader in AI development hiring AI Writing Specialists to train generative artificial intelligence models to become better writers. We are looking for creative people who can quickly draft high-quality, accurate content. Writers, editors/proofreaders, educators, researchers, and people with writing-oriented degrees are highly encouraged to apply. In this role, you will be assigned to work on specific, high-priority projects for customers and/or to review (e.g. edit/grade) work done by others.
- This is a full-time, 6-month contract position. It is onsite and available to candidates local to the Dallas - Irving area.
- This is an hourly, non-exempt role where you will be given assignments to review content or create original work.
As an AI Writing Specialist, you will:
- Work on various writing/reading projects to train generative AI models.
- Create original and challenging prompts for an AI model to respond to.
- Review and rank responses that were produced by an AI model.
- Based on a given topic, write a short story about that topic.
- Assess whether a piece of text produced by an AI model is factually accurate or not.
Preferred qualifications:
- BA, or some professional training in written content creation
- 1-year minimum professional editing or writing experience
- Completion of a liberal arts degree program that is heavily writing-focused (Literature, Linguistics, Communication, Philosophy, History, English, or similar)
- Able to work on-site 5 days a week at Dallas headquarters
- Must be able to work independently and complete deadlines
- Positive attitude and professionalism in an office environment
