The Agency Operations team leads agency model strategy, curates talent for a robust agency roster,  steers annual scope planning and spend,  and oversees agency performance and relations across the portfolio at MolsonCoors.

 

The Agency Operations Manager role ensures the company is getting optimal value from new and existing marketing agency investments through careful stewardship of scope development, appropriate usage of deliverable menu and agency model, data analysis, monitoring of utilization and ongoing production and partner training. This role will also support the team in leading agency management and relationship best practices for the company and marketing department.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Understand needs of Brand to appropriately allocate resources and scope
  • Provide ongoing data analysis to inform decisions on working and non working spend
  • Research agency landscape and trends, curating new potential agency resources and approaches in agency management and compensation
  • Partner with Brand and Procurement for new agency resource requirements and RFPs
  • Identify how agency performance metrics can be expanded to additional hard data inputs
  • Continuous oversight to optimization of Deliverable Menu and Agency Model

 

Accountability

  • Ownership of digital scoping tool, training and usage
  • Ensure contract compliance (both sides) for marketing agency agreements.
  • Consistently analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of agency spend with respect  to deliverable models, staffing plans, fee structures, quarterly utilization
  • Ensure that all financial and legal reporting and control processes are supported with proactive communication in all agency relationships and lifecycles.
  • Manage Agency Performance evaluation process, supporting Agency Annual Evaluation process across all Brand teams and internal key stakeholders

Partnership Management

  • Lead annual scope planning process , managing Brand and Agency partners collectively
  • Lead training and usage of digital scoping tool as a resource for internal partners
  • Partner with Brand teams  to navigate comprehensive agency onboarding
  • Build strong partnerships with Procurement and Finance to oresent unified front to agencies
  • Pro-actively and consistently offer new solutions to improve the agency value equation. Key stakeholders include:
    *Procurement
    *Legal

*Finance
*All managed agencies
*Brand Leaders who interface with agencies

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred Or 5-7 years of Marketing or Agency Management Experience 
  • Experience performing a similar role within a company with a significant spend with external agency partners highly desired – or Agency Experience with demonstration of client team leadership – OR Brand Marketing experience.
  • Financial management experience required.
  • Knowledge of a marketing creative eco-system
