Age / Aircraft Worker

Starlight Corporation is a government contractor specializing in Corrosion Control and Aircraft Wash services. We are looking for an A&P Mechanic that has experience with various types of military airframes. It is preferred if applicant has a valid A&P Mechanic license. Applicant can have experience with, but not limited to, any of the following aircraft types; KC-135, B-1, B-52, RQ4, C-5, C-17, etc. This position will have an active and lead role in the Corrosion Control and Aircraft Wash Service Contract. In addition, to a manager position we are looking for other crew member positions within the team.

Security Requirements: The candidate may be required to complete a SF 86 National Agency Check and Local Agency Check (NACLC) background check. Successful candidates will likely be required to access restricted areas and even government LAN access for quality control purposes. This position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. No convictions or criminal history will be allowed.

Starlight is looking for competent self-starters ready to lead our corrosion control program. We are looking for immediate positions to be filled for part-time employees with the potential of full-time work capabilities.

Requirements:

* Preferred to have A&P Mechanic License

* Preferred Experience with Military Aircraft

* Must have valid driver's license

* Physical Requirements: Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or, reach with hands and arms.

* Must have excellent communication skills

* Must be a citizen of the United States

* Will frequently be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist

* Must have flexible work schedule

* Must be able to understand and comprehend Air Force Instruction (AFI) and Technical Order (TO) Documents

Pay: $25.00 - $28.41 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
