Form of workThe incumbent serves as an Aeronautical Information Specialist located in the Mission Support Services, Aeronautical Information Services Directorate, Aeronautical Information Group, US Notice to Airman (NOTAM) Governance Team. Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments, under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist.
Qualifications:TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE FV-J (FG/GS-14) LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FV-I (FG/GS-13) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: Experience and comprehensive knowledge of NOTAM policy, and in what manner it impacts NOTAM originators; Experience to draw a parallel between NOTAM policy and safety of flight operations; Experience and knowledge of complexity of the NAS and in what way NOTAMs effect the flow of Air Traffic.
