Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team that provides consulting services for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) products and solutions. AEM helps customers organize and manage the delivery of creative assets and other content across digital marketing channels, including web, mobile, email, social media, and video. The AEM consulting team is responsible for providing expert skills in the implementation of the Adobe AEM solution offering as well as integrating complementary Adobe enterprise solutions and interfacing with clients' existing IT infrastructure.

Adobe Consulting engagements involve full life-cycle project delivery, in-depth product, and technical consulting, and mentoring and knowledge transfer customers. The AEM UX Consultant guides a customer in best practices, methodologies, and defined technical solutions that translate a design experience into an AEM friendly format. The AEM UX Consultant ensures standard methodologies are followed in setting up a client's component library for success - promoting growth through template and component re-usability and flexibility with AEM capabilities. This includes understanding how to use key AEM features as part of design workflows and deliverables, reducing friction for creative teams involved in implementing AEM Sites, and supporting the content authoring process for managing templates and components. The AEM UX Consultant understands the impact design deliverables have on the template/content authoring environments and help to set up this experience in alignment with standard methodologies, business goals, and AEM development requirements.

Responsibilities:

Participate in Discovery sessions to identify business priorities and expectations of authoring experience within AEM

Lead workshops between creative, content teams, and development teams in relation to template and component identification and requirements, and governance strategy between development and authoring tasks

Align creative and content teams by promoting collaboration in the decision-making process and aligning on an MVP approach

Provide guidance to design teams on how to use AEM features in relation to design and front-end development workflows

Oversee customer design delivery or front-end development and audit for AEM integrity

Collaborate with technical team during hand-off of design work to AEM development

Guide the process for translating a customer's experience design to use AEM features and capabilities, while supporting flexibility and scalability

Collaborate with Sales on GTM service offerings and pre-sales inquiries

Coordinate customer feedback with product teams

Research trends for design & front-end technologies that impact AEM integration in order to support improving design/front-end workflows

Requirements:

3+ years experience with AEM with functional knowledge of template editor and content author roles in AEM

Expertise in HTML

Expertise in CSS and CSS pre-processors (ex: LESS/SASS)

Expertise in front-end development, especially JAM stack

Familiarity with front-end frameworks that support design systems (Storybook, Bootstrap, Material UI)

Expertise in Atomic design methodology

Expertise in Design systems, Style guides, Pattern libraries

Proficient in analyzing content author usability (in relation to authoring tasks/AEM product capabilities)

Proficient in information architecture

Proficient in Adobe XD, and familiarity with other design tools such as Sketch or Figma.

Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Strong data driven design, user research, and prototyping skills

Ability to clearly articulate a problem space and design solutions that meet users needs and business goals

Strategic problem solver, that is able to relate the day-to-day details with broader business objectives.

Ability to think holistically about how the UI will scale in the future and integrate with other systems within an AEM environment

Position may require up to 15% travel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $113,000 -- $184,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
