SalarySpherion Staffing of Lake and Sumter County has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to join our client's team located in Tavares, FL. This is a temp-to-hire position. The individual in this role will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks including AP/AR efficiently and effectively to ensure smooth operations within the organization.
Responsibilities:
-Perform general office duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
-Maintain and organize office files and records.
-Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, billing, and expense tracking in QuickBooks online.
-Assist in the preparation of documents using Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Provide excellent customer service to clients.
-Provide support to other team members and departments as required.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
-Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Basic bookkeeping or accounting knowledge.
