Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the COPS division of DOJ in DC.

The COPS Office CRI Continuum of Services encompasses three components offering expert services to state, local, territorial, and tribal law enforcement agencies, ranging in scope and complexity at the voluntary request of agencies. This continuum of services is designed to build trust between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve; improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness; enhance officer safety and wellness; and develop and disseminate evidence-based, promising, and innovative public safety practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Review COPS Office TASK FORCE protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs), as well as relevant COPS Office policies related to travel and communications.

Attend internal TASK FORCE and site-specific meetings as requested by the COPS Office. During the meetings, the contractor will take and maintain meeting notes. The notes will be provided to the relevant TASK FORCE team members and other COPS Office staff within one (1) business day of the meeting.

Work with the TASK FORCE team to develop, maintain, and update the TASK FORCE web pages to include project statuses as outlined in the TASK FORCE SOPs. The contractor will gather updates from the TASK FORCE team members and work with the COPS Office Communications and Information Technology divisions on updates. The contractor will QC the revisions made before the web page(s) are released live.

Manage information sharing environments in the cloud where documents and data are uploaded and maintained.

Assist the COPS Office with the scheduling of internal and external meetings, focus groups, and interviews. The contractor will need to conduct outreach to a wide variety of stakeholders to include federal, state, and local officials, stakeholder groups, and community members. The contractor will need to customize outreach based on the audience.

Work with the TASK FORCE team, the contractor will assist in building site visit schedules, briefing materials, talking points, and other documents as needed.

Work with an internal Administrative Assistant, the contractor will be responsible for coordinating travel for TASK FORCE team and subject matter experts. The contractor will assist with identifying meeting space and providing other travel logistics as needed.

Track and assist with inquiries from law enforcement agencies to include scheduling intake calls, gathering information from the requestor, and assisting with drafting of memos summarizing recommendations.

Assist with tracking, documenting, and maintaining version control over document uploads, reviews, and revisions. The contractor will follow the SOPs as outlined in Task 4.

Track and collate open source media accounts for the TASK FORCE team on sites, incidents, and other major areas of interest by the TASK FORCE team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must have at least 4+ years of relative experience supporting government agency
Bachelors Degree
Must be able to obtain a DOJ MRPT clearance and meet all security requirements
