Billion Automotive, a well established long term Sioux City auto dealership is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist to join the team in Sioux City, IA!
We are looking for a candidate with a strong accounting background to support our Sioux City Dealership
Experience with daily accounting duties, reconciling accounts, daily bank deposit prep and cash reporting
Willing to learn the specific rules and regulations surrounding the operation of auto dealerships
Strong work ethic!
This is a career position not just a job!
Your typical work week:
Work with Sales and Finance to ensure car deals are correct
Prepare payoff checks for vehicle purchases
Assist with select monthly account reconciliation
Maintains professional appearance and neat work area.
Cross-train with other office team members to learn full office duties including titling of vehicles
Answer incoming calls about car deals, provide information to customers
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Understanding of accounting functions (experience strongly preferred)
-Multi-line phone experience and ability to multi-task
-Valid driver's license/acceptable driving record
-Excellent attendance record
-Must successfully complete pre-employment criminal background and motor vehicle record check
-Proven history of strong customer-oriented skills required
