Accounting Manager

This position will report to our CFO

Fine Tune is looking for an Accounting Manager to take over general accounting duties from the CFO as needed, process bi-weekly payroll, and operate our newly launched client Bill Payment service. Fine Tune has recently added bill payment services to our portfolio of services for our clients. This role will be responsible for managing and improving those bill payment processes. In addition, this role will be instrumental in developing the Fine Tune bill payment program in general as we expand these services to our existing and future clients through our proprietary software system.

• Process bi-weekly payroll
• Maintain and update client bill payment account database
• Process invoices and payment files
• Transmit payment files to 3rd party payment processor; process direct payments
• Manage electronic ledger; ensure payments are posted and reconciled
• Identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
• Contacting clients when necessary to resolve invoicing/bill payment issues
• Produce statements, ledgers, and reports as needed

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of AP work experience with a proven track record
• Intermediate-level Excel user
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work remotely in a space free from distractions
• Accountable to yourself and your teammates
