Description Your JobKoch Capabilities (KCC) is seeking a motivated and self-driven Accounting Manager with strong analytical and communication skills to join our General Accounting team and leveraged capability! The Koch accounting leveraged capability group works across Koch businesses to develop standard processes and leverage technology to solve complex problems for our Finance Organization. This role will help transform and support processes for intercompany loans, transactions, and restructurings. The role will also be involved in areas such as self-insurance programs and other specialized accounting areas. This role can be based at any of our Corporate Office locations in Wichita, KS, Atlanta, GA, Lisle, IL, or Auburn Hills, MI. What You Will Do Be an example of and proponent for Principle Based Management within the leveraged capability accounting teamBuild relationships and collaborate with Accounting and Finance resources both inside Koch Capabilities and across the broader Koch Industries enterpriseLead and collaborate on projects to standardize processes across Koch businessesProvide guidance on treatment for complex accounting topicsSupport month-end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner, ensure compliance with company policies, and meet closing deadlinesPerform accounting responsibilities in compliance with financial, regulatory, and Koch accounting policies and guidelinesApply appropriate internal controls in a changing business transformational environmentPartner with various stakeholders in tax, consolidations, and finance to provide financial reporting supportWork with external auditors and support annual audit process Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Strong career progression in accounting roles or public accountingExperience working or leading complex, cross-capability projectsStrong leadership or prior supervisory experienceExperience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, including advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation) What Will Put You Ahead Experience leading projectsAbility to develop critical partnerships and drive mutually beneficial resultsCorporate Accounting or Financial Reporting experience, especially as it relates to managing intercompany loan portfolios, consolidations, and other complex accounting topicsExperience with OneStream or other consolidation software toolsEnthusiasm to collaborate and build effective working relationships across departments and companiesGrowth mindset, ability to implement processes and drive change At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
