Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for tax return preparation. You will also have a list of bookkeeping clients to manage and consult.

Accountabilities:

• Prepares federal, state, or local tax returns for individuals, business establishments, or other organizations
• Advise management regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Provides tax, retirement & business operation advice

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools: Quickbooks Online and ProConnect/Lacerte
• Experience with Google Workspace Email and Drive, Excel & Word
• Bookkeeping for multiple organizations
• Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies
• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience: Appropriate certifications with 3-5 years of related experience
