This position is based out of our Brookfield, WI facility and will be responsible for supporting our accounting department. This position is responsible for perform complex and diversified accounting assignments and assist the finance department in creating timely and accurate financial statements while providing leadership and day-to-day mentoring of the junior staff members.

Position responsibilities:

• Review, analyze and evaluate reconciliations relating to company operations and inventory

• Conduct quarterly floor plan inventory audits and oversee weekly payments

• Complete and submit annual business registrations

• Control and maintain general ledger activity with accurate month end equipment costing and journal entries

• Monthly review of tax on company purchases

• Process sales tax returns, real estate payments, and UCC filings

• Implement systems and controls to ensure compliance with our accounting practices.

• Partner with management team to ensure effective communications and completion of critical finance matters

• Additional responsibilities as requested

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting plus related experience (5+ years).

• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel & Word

• Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.

• Strong leadership skills to assist in developing the junior accounting staff

• Commitment to company vision and mission.
