Pace Supply is seeking an Outside Sales manager to join our Kahului, Maui, HI Sales Team.
An account manager is responsible for profitably growing sales and establishing PACE Supply’s value proposition in the market by way of cultivating current customers and consistently looking to recruit new customers.
An account manager will grow sales by building relationships with key stakeholders in PACE Supply as well as at their accounts by way of adding value with competitive pricing, product knowledge, exceptional customer service and building a partnership with customers in their assigned territory.
Understands current market conditions and establishes networks to build relationships with customers, management, branch employees and all peers.
Customer Facing Sales Calls
- Calls on assigned customer list with regular intervals
- Articulates the organization’s value proposition (selling PACE Supply’s value proposition)
- Educates customers on how to differentiate from competitors and assists customers in their purrchasing decisionsl
- Knows the value of building relationships and views this as a critical part of their success
- Manges time and schedules to be able to best serve customers
- Regularly follows new leads and establishing new accounts/customers
- Relays market conditions and information in sales meetings and to sales management
Sales Planning / Execution
- Yearly / Monthly / Sales Planning
- Cold calling new prospects
- Execution of sales initaitve
- Job tracking / Market awareness
- Weekly call plannnig
- Reveiwing previous sales numbers
Customer Focus/Managing Work
- Follows up on all job quotes for customers
- Maintains regular communications with internal divisions and look for opportunites for cross divisional selling
- Upkeep of customer pricing and communication of same.
- Notifies customer of any and all product price increases
- Escaltes customers needs as required (looking after the needs of the customer)
- Identifies market specific product needs and price points and communicates information internally
- Manages communication between customer and our vendor partners
- Effective management of relationship beween PACE Supply and customer
Minimum HS Diploma
At least 3 years experience in the plumbing industry
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Ability to adapt and think on your feet
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft and Apple products
Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels in the organization.
Ideal
More than 5 years experience with 2 years of inside sales experience.
Ability to travel between customers, attend meetings at corporate /sales office. Ability to vist job sites and related job functions. Abiility to lift up to 50lbs
