The Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah is seeking a Medical Director to lead our Intensive Services Department. The psychiatrist will provide program development and clinical leadership in addition to psychiatric services to children and adolescent in our day treatment and partial hospitalization programs through Primary Children's Hospital (PCH). Clinical duties may also include on-call psychiatric coverage for PCH by phone during off hours and weekends, along with weekend coverage on the inpatient unit at Primary Children's Wasatch Canyons. Additional expectations include educating future health care providers, conducting quality improvement and outcomes research, and engaging in advocacy to help us accomplish our goals of providing timely evidence-based mental health treatment to youth in the most appropriate setting.

Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
