This position is in the Flight Sciences Section of the Blue Origin's Advanced Development Programs (ADP) business unit. Here at ADP we develop orbital and planetary flight systems, services, and products, including Orbital Reef, Blue Moon commercial lunar lander, advanced spaceflight capabilities, and a wide range of concepts, proposals, and technology development projects. As part of a hardworking team of diverse spacecraft development and mission operation engineers, you will contribute to one of these inspiring programs.

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, communication skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

Qualifications:

Seeking individuals pursuing Aero/Physics/Math/Electrical Degrees. Preferred academic course work / projects in one or more of the following:

  • Dynamics, ODE, Linear Algebra, Control Systems, Astrodynamics, Aerospace Vehicle Dynamics and Control
  • Optimization, programming and software development (MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, Python, Julia)
  • Experience in student projects such as small satellite development and testing, development and control of UAVs, robots with actuators and sensors
  • Understand the relationship between GNC, vehicle configuration, actuation, sensors, and automation
  • Experience with Monte-Carlo analyses, propulsion or GNC hardware trade studies, RPO trajectory design or formation flying, and satellite mission CONOPs.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Ability to learn a lot and have fun!

Compensation range for on site CO applicants is $82,500-$121,000

Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $90,000-$132,000

Compensation range for on site CA applicants is $90,000-$132,000
