(5) Med/Surg RN - Day Shift

​​​​​​Pay: $31.84-$43.85/hour PLUS 15k sign on bonus for new grad RNs, and 20k bonus experienced RNs.
Night shift Differential :
3PM-11PM $1.55/ph +
11PM-7AM $4.00/ph +
Weekend Differential:
1st shift gets $1.75/ph+
2nd shift gets $3.30/ph+
3rd shift gets $5.75/ph+

Hours: 7am-7pm (Full Time) with rotating weekends.

JOB SUMMARY

• The Registered Nurse on the Cardiac Telemetry unit is an essential member of the patient care team responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit: Cardio-Pulmonary, dialysis, oncology, and all general Med/Surgical patients treated on the unit.
• The RN will delegate those interventions, which may be performed by others, supervises as appropriate, assists in maintaining a safe environment for the rendering of effective nursing care provide education to patients, and families, and collaborates with other health professionals in the planning management of health care.
• Floor is a fast-paced, 31-bed unit, serving a primarily geriatric population.

JOB REQUIREMENTS​​​

• Associate degree in Nursing (or 3-year Diploma) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must possess a valid State of Maine RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire
• Must attend telemetry course during orientation
• 1-year previous nursing experience preferred
